Illamasqua’s Human Fundamentalism collection was such a hit for me–they nailed the eyeshadows, nail lacquers, and gloss so, so on the head. The new shades of eyeshadows they launched, like Burst, Pivot, and Obsidian, were some of my favorites from 2012, period. And Nomad? Swoon!
Illamasqua’s Pure Pigment has an impressive range of unique colors with a lot of subtleties and nuances. They have always had a beautiful texture–so finely milled and pigmented. The packaging could be better, though–the uniqueness of the colors tends to make up for that.
Illamasqua Zyogmatic is a pink-tinged beige with a neutral undertone. It is part of the cream blush range, so it’s easy to blend out, wears well throughout the day, and is impossible to overdo because of its subtle coloring.
Illamasqua Nail Varnish is utterly fantastic. The shade range is large and interesting, but more importantly? the quality is astounding. Richly pigmented, beautiful, flowing consistencies, and a long-wearing formula to boot. I can wear shades for as long as ten days without chipping! I love shades like Raindrops (actually reminiscent of a cloudy, rainy day), Charisma (rich, deep red), and Creator (looks like a galaxy on your nails!).
