Looks like Alyson Hannigan is going for that no-makeup look we saw on NYFW’s runways last week. I would have loved to see a little more lip color at least!

Love Alyson, but she is not looking her best here- she’s got obvious sun damage and should know better! Her hair also looks crunchy and dry, very 80′s (which, despite trend forecasts, is something I don’t think should be rehashed.)
I also would have put a bit of color on her face- the totally nude lips almost look blue, and nothing on her face is emphasized.
Disappointing, considering how good she can look (anyone remember vampire Willow?)
I like her dress but her hair looks like it needs some moisture. I also hate the no makeup.
And yes, I loved Vampire Willow. Definitely more my speed
I agree with Phyrra and Jess. Adore her, hate the tan, the hair is dry and definitely not red enough. I miss Willow.
i think she looks beautiful! i like the minimal look on fair skinned freckled red heads….the hair could be redder, but think she looks gorgeous as is. do you think she might be preggers? she doesnt look bigger, but she looks glowy.
I don’t like her hair. She look so good with the short styles. Even last season of How I Met Your Mother was still looking good with medium length. It looks unhealthy and messy. The natural look is refreshing though.
Something weird is up with her face… has she had surgery? It looks plastic.
She looks nice, but her hair needs to be more done up.
I agree with a lot of comments here. A little color would have been nice. Actually, it seems like all the actresses except for a few brave souls like Leighton Meester and Hayden Panatierre went for the no-makeup look, and it was disappointing. You dont have to look like a drag queen, but this is the Emmys, a formal, televised awards show — show us some color!
Shatani, Alyson had a baby a few months ago, which is probably why shes not as skinny as usual. Good for her for losing the weight gradually and naturally.

I think the thing we should keep in mind about her hair is that she is a natural brunette, NOT a natural red head. When she was pregnant, she did try to go back to her natural hair color as it isn’t healthy to dye your hair for those nine months. I guess she’s attempting to go red again, because this looks about half-way between being auburn and brown. Possibly, this is the reason for the dryness.
She looks old.

Just my opinion! Whoever was her makeup artist and stylist, their career is over! No one should be referred to this person — whoever it was!
