There’s just something about summer beauty offerings that always gets my engine revving. I seriously look at spring collections and say, “JUST TAKE ME TO SUMMER NOW!” Not to say spring launches aren’t gorgeous, but ahh, ahh, summer is always on a different plane for me. What can I say? All of my favorite collections tend to come from summer! I better start budgeting, because it looks like I’m already at $300 just for preliminary wants–not including sure-to-rob-me-blind MAC launches, of course.

What are YOU tempted by?

I am totally drooling over Chanel’s Cote d’Azur Summer Collection– specifically the Soleil Tan de Chanel ($65.00), In Love Powder Blush ($42.00), and the Lumieres Facettes Plein Soleil ($56.00). I must, must-have Guerlain’s Perles des Mers Eyeshadow Palette ($58.00), and I’m thinking I better get the new khol, too… And I can’t forget about their Terracotta Collection.

Dior Cristal Collection will surely tempt me, though I haven’t seen enough photos of the quints to determine whether those will grab me or not. But I know I must have the new Skin Shimmer in Pop Diamond ($43.00). I already grabbed Coral Riviera, but I need Rose Brazilia ($42.00) STAT.

Not to mention all of the upcoming MAC Collections that are bound to have at least (more like many!) a few products to catch my eye. Sigh!
