Hello!
Let me introduce myself, as many know me simply by “Temptalia,” which is really an internet identity at this point. My real name is Christine, and I am twenty-one-years-old; I hail from the San Francisco Bay Area, over in lovely California.
I graduated from the University of Irvine, California June 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a second bachelor’s degree in Political Science. I am currently studying and enrolled in a full-time combined business and law program in pursuance of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
At this time, the blog is truly a full-blown hobby, part-time job, which I absolutely adore and love working on. It is a great opportunity to meet with fellow beauty addicts and share in the glory that is cosmetics. I love interacting with my readers as much as possible, and I try to make sure I respond to each and every comment I receive. Since I am a full-time student, I work on the blog part-time as well as am available as a freelance consultant for various endeavors ranging from administrative, graphics, public relations, web, and writing work.
It’s quite difficult to write a biography about yourself and condense your person and life into a few short paragraphs, but I think this gives you a glimpse into the author of Temptalia just a touch, at the very least. My boyfriend and I started the blog as a joint-venture and really to create a more professional, user-friendly version of my original beauty website, Jezebella. Jezebella was re-born as Temptalia.com in October 2006. Since then, it has grown tremendously from only an archive of my previous daily looks to a true beauty resource with advice, articles, looks, reviews, and tutorials.
Here at Temptalia we see over 100,000 unique visitors each month, 150,000 and climbing visits per month, with over 500,000 pageviews. We’ve tracked our loyal visitors and have found that so many of our readers keep coming back to the site, and it is such an accomplishment, because we know the content is worthwhile and we are so-far succeeding in our goals.
And the site owes its success to the readers that keep it going!

Thanks, Nell! LOL, I actually do my best to get eight hours! I would say I end up with an average of 8-9, but sometimes 6-7 if I’m really, really busy (or really, really stressed!).
