5 Luxurious Eggplant Purple Eyeshadows

5 Luxurious Eggplant Purple Eyeshadows
Deep, decadent purples with red undertones make me think of eggplants. They can be a tough beast to master, often because they come in matte finishes, but they’re so worth practicing and perfecting. They can add so much depth to your look; I love using them as a crease color paired with soft browns, beiges, pinks, and lighter purples.
What’s your favorite eggplant-hued eyeshadow?

I used to own Urban Decay Freakshow, but for some reason the texture didn’t work at all for me (too much fallout, chunky and hard to blend). I really wonder if I got a dud though, because their Deluxe Shadows seem to be a success for everyone else!
The first two… ohhh love ‘em!
I need to get Inglot #375 & 325! So gorgeous!
I love the Tarina Tarantino & the La Metier ones. Both are gorgeous colors!
These are so beautiful! I Love these “five” posts! I don’t have any purples like these
You’ve got it, it’s Fig. 1. My other 2 are Ben Nye shadows in Deep Violet (not violet at all, it’s more toward plum than Fig. 1) and Crushed Grape (not quite grape, just a redder Fig. 1). I just swatched them for comparison to be sure!
I have LMdB Fig and it is an absolutely gorg-E-ous color! So much depth and complexity, makes my brown eyes look almost black and gives them a sparkle I love.
I need Fig1!
Urban Decay’s Flash and Purple Haze (not matte)
I just got LMdB Fig and it has become one of my favourite colours ever. I love how rich and deep it is and that it doesn’t ever look like it’s black or brown- it always shows it’s true shade. I’m especially happy because I’ve had a hard time finding an aubergine-type shade that I really love.
This is very similar to your other recent purple eye shadow post, but I’m not complaining! I love being introduced to all these similar yet different shades! Thanks!
Very different, actually, since these are red-toned whereas the others were primarily blue-based, so they’re actually quite different
i love that shade! looks so sultry on the eyes ^_^
