4 More Makeup Looks Using MAC Deep Truth Eyeshadow

Pump up silvery smoky eyes by layering Deep Truth’s deep blue over grays and silvers.

Create a jewel-toned effect by pairing it with rich greens, teals, and just a touch of purple.

Darken any crease just by swishing a little Deep Truth in the outermost portion of the crease.

Smoke up that lash line by dabbing your 219 brush into Deep Truth and applying it to the outer portion of your lower lash line.

  1. Love the silver smokey eyes idea, I don’t own Deep Truth but I think I’m going to try it with Star By Night =)

I often wear Beautiful Iris in the inner 2/3 of the lid, and use Deep Truth at the outer 1/3 and the lower lash line. Love this combo. Christine, I was wondering if you could show us how you would pair Beautiful Iris. Thank you!!! Love your creativity.

deep truth may be my most favoritest of mac colors! i think its so cool how different the colors look on you than they do on me (i have very dark skin)…my favorite thing about makeup is the fact that we can all wear the same colors and still not look the same!

  5. Sasha

I didn’t get Deep Truth or Star By Night, but I think I have Blue Flame. Are they all pretty much the same?

I’m not sure why but Deep Truth is still a little intimidating for me (which, if you saw my colors, you’d be a little confused by). When I saw it at my MAC store I had to buy it because it’s just such a beautiful color. I’ve been waiting for the perfect look to come along to try it out. I’m going to give the first look a try (grey, silver, blue)…hopefully I can do it justice! *crosses fingers*

I love the first look the most! It looks like something I could incorporate into a daytime look.

  8. Tanya

I really love these, I wish I could pull off blue!

  9. Aishah

I don’t own that color. Those are pretty looks though. You’re awesome to challenge yourself to be creative and show us different ways to wear certain shadows.

  10. i can never get deep truth to work for me :( ill definitely try it again tho

    Deep truth paired with gold.

Deep Truth and gold is pretty but not a combo I’ll ever wear because then I feel like a Charger’s fan and I’m one of the few who lives in San Diego who isn’t a Charger’s fan. LOL I was sold on deep truth when one of the MAC artists told me to pair it with Idol Eyes and that is a super pretty combo. I’ve taken deep truth and put a bit of humid over it to make a sort of dark teal-ish color, deep truth with a little hepcat over it is beautiful comes out a dark iridescent purple which my friend did one night we went out and she sort of smoked it out a bit too. I also once paired it with Parrot and it looked sort of mermaid ish.

Would deep truth work over dangerous cuvee paint pot?
