There seemed to be two types of Red Carpet looks this year at the 2007 59th Primetime Emmy Awards: red lips and nude lips, with both accompanied by long, luscious dramatic lashes. Some smoky eyes, some lighter ones.
Eva Longoria: Get Eva’s look by putting on some MAC Lipstick in Blankety and topping it with any nude gloss. Use MAC Kohl Power in Feline for intense black lining on the upper lash line. Don’t forget to dramatify the look with long lashes from shu uemura Smoky Layers eyelashes. Keep skin light and fresh with minimal blush – try something in a dusty rose with a very light hand.
Jennifer Love Hewitt: Neutral eyes, medium pink lip, and lashes galore! Again, check out shu uemura Smoky Layers eyelashes for extra thick and sexy lashes. For lips, try MAC Lipstick in Sparks Can Fy. Bronze cheeks with a subtle color like MAC blush in Peachtwist.
Christina Aguilera: Once again, there’s those huge lashes! Try out shu umera Black Velvet Feather lashes to copycat the look. Christina makes her look classic with glossy red lips. Think MAC Lipstick in Russian Red with MAC Lipglass in Russian Red to gloss it up (even a clear gloss would do well!).
Heidi Klum: Looks like regular lashes, or perhaps very, very subtle false lashes, in a brown-black. Light eye, quite subtle. Lips are like Christina’s, only not glossy. heck out MAC Lipstick in Russian Red.
Hayden Panettiere: I gotta tell you, it looks like those shu umera Black Velvet Feather lashes will do the trick yet again. Looks like Hayden has a bit of Mythology eyeshadow on her lids, though! For the lips, I like MAC Lipstick in Barely Lit with MAC Lipglass in Illicit.
Debra Messing: Subtler eyes, a touch smokey, and I’d say MAC Kohl Power in Feline is perfect for that black. Maybe a touch of Carbon eyeshadow, too. Lashes are subtler, though still dramatic, and I’d recommend shu uemura Black Focal lashes. For lips, try MAC Lipstick in Please Me.
